2  The Lord shall send the ^arod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

  16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the ^broot and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

  1  And there shall ^bcome forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.

  20  And behold, also Zenock, and also Ezias, and also ^cIsaiah, and Jeremiah, (Jeremiah being that same prophet who testified of the destruction of Jerusalem) and now we know that Jerusalem was destroyed according to the words of Jeremiah. O then why not the Son of God come, according to his prophecy?
