1  Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my ^fface and know that I am;

  2  We saw the Lord standing upon the breastwork of the pulpit, before us; and under his feet was a paved work of pure gold, in color like amber.

  11  Thus I, Abraham, talked with the Lord, face to face, as one man talketh with another; and he told me of the works which his hands had made;

  17  It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two ^cPersonages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

  5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that ^bJesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

  16  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the ^bmind of Christ.
