17  Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul ^bdelivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

  6  Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the ^abands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

  38  Therefore if that man repenteth not, and remaineth and dieth an enemy to God, the demands of divine justice do awaken his immortal soul to a lively sense of his own ^cguilt, which doth cause him to shrink from the presence of the Lord, and doth fill his breast with guilt, and pain, and anguish, which is like an unquenchable fire, whose flame ascendeth up forever and ever.
