6  And I saw the heavens open, and the ^aLamb of God descending out of heaven; and he came down and showed himself unto them.

  1  And after Christ shall have ^arisen from the dead he shall show himself unto you, my children, and my beloved brethren; and the words which he shall speak unto you shall be the law which ye shall do.

  20  And many of the people did inquire concerning the place where the Son of God should come; and they were taught that he would ^aappear unto them after his resurrection; and this the people did hear with great joy and gladness.

  17  And now, as I, Moroni, said I could not make a full account of these things which are written, therefore it sufficeth me to say that Jesus showed himself unto this man in the spirit, even after the manner and in the likeness of the same body even as he ^bshowed himself unto the Nephites.

  9  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was ^ataken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

  31  He had on a loose robe of most exquisite ^awhiteness. It was a whiteness beyond anything earthly I had ever seen; nor do I believe that any earthly thing could be made to appear so exceedingly white and brilliant. His hands were naked, and his arms also, a little above the wrist; so, also, were his feet naked, as were his legs, a little above the ankles. His head and neck were also bare. I could discover that he had no other clothing on but this robe, as it was open, so that I could see into his bosom.
