9  Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face ^atoward the ground.

  7  And it came to pass that he returned to his own house at Jerusalem; and he cast himself upon his bed, being overcome with the Spirit and the things which he had seen.

  9  And the presence of God withdrew from Moses, that his glory was not upon Moses; and Moses was left unto himself. And as he was left unto himself, he ^cfell unto the earth.

  4  His family consisting of eleven souls, namely, my father, Joseph Smith; my ^amother, Lucy Smith (whose name, previous to her marriage, was Mack, daughter of Solomon Mack); my brothers, Alvin (who died November 19th, 1823, in the 26th year of his age), Hyrum, myself, Samuel Harrison, William, Don Carlos; and my sisters, Sophronia, Catherine, and Lucy.

  19  But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

  22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

  31  And when Enoch had heard these words, he bowed himself to the earth, before the Lord, and spake before the Lord, saying: Why is it that I have found favor in thy sight, and am but a lad, and all the people ^chate me; for I am slow of speech; wherefore am I thy servant?

  6  And it came to pass that after I had received ^astrength I spake unto my brethren, desiring to know of them the cause of their disputations.
