1  And now it came to pass that after Alma had made an end of speaking unto the people of the church, which was established in the city of Zarahemla, he ordained priests and elders, by laying on his hands according to the order of God, to preside and ^dwatch over the church.

  6  So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to ^bwork.

  12  And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

  3  Behold, I say unto you that it is my will that you should go forth and not tarry, neither be idle but labor with your might—

  10  And let the beginning be made on the fourth day of July next; and from that time forth let my people ^alabor diligently to build a house unto my name;

  1  Ye shall make you no ^aidols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

  17  They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new ^dgods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
