8  And now, behold, I say unto you that you shall go unto the ^aLamanites and preach my gospel unto them; and inasmuch as they receive thy teachings thou shalt cause my church to be established among them; and thou shalt have revelations, but write them not by way of commandment.

  2  And that which I have appointed unto him is that he shall ^ago with my servants, Oliver Cowdery and Peter Whitmer, Jun., into the wilderness among the Lamanites.

  15  Behold, I command you that you need not suppose that you are called to preach ^cuntil you are called.

  6  And now, behold, I say unto you, that the thing which will be of the most worth unto you will be to declare repentance unto this people, that you may bring souls unto me, that you may rest with them in the kingdom of my Father. Amen.
