22  And the Lord God asaid, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

5  For behold, if Adam had put forth his hand immediately, and apartaken of the tree of life, he would have lived forever, according to the word of God, having no space for repentance; yea, and also the word of God would have been void, and the great plan of salvation would have been frustrated.

9  And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the ctree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

25  And it came to pass that I beheld that the rod of iron, which my father had seen, was the word of God, which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the etree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God; and I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God.
