22  And the Lord God ^asaid, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

  5  For behold, if Adam had put forth his hand immediately, and ^apartaken of the tree of life, he would have lived forever, according to the word of God, having no space for repentance; yea, and also the word of God would have been void, and the great plan of salvation would have been frustrated.

  9  And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the ^ctree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  25  And it came to pass that I beheld that the rod of iron, which my father had seen, was the word of God, which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the ^etree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God; and I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God.
