25  Thrice was I ^abeaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

  2  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully ^aentreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
