1 Samuel 8:5  
 5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons awalk not in thy ways: now make us a bking to judge us like all the nations.

  6  And the people were desirous that Alma should be their aking, for he was beloved by his people.

  16  Now I say unto you, that because all men are not just it is not expedient that ye should have a aking or kings to rule over you.

  30  And they did set at defiance the law and the rights of their country; and they did covenant one with another to destroy the governor, and to establish a aking over the land, that the land should no more be at liberty but should be subject unto kings.

  21  But, verily I say unto you that in time ye shall have no aking nor ruler, for I will be your king and watch over you.
