3  And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to ^akill him.

  27  Yea, he was exceedingly wroth, and he did curse God, and also Moroni, swearing with an ^boath that he would drink his blood; and this because Moroni had kept the commandments of God in preparing for the safety of his people.

  9  But behold, this was a critical time for such contentions to be among the people of Nephi; for behold, Amalickiah had again stirred up the hearts of the people of the Lamanites against the people of the Nephites, and he was gathering together soldiers from all parts of his land, and arming them, and preparing for war with all diligence; for he had ^bsworn to drink the blood of Moroni.

  3  And they were also angry with Alma and Amulek; and because they had testified so plainly against their wickedness, they sought to ^bput them away privily.
