7  And it came to pass after many days there were a goodly number gathered together at the place of Mormon, to hear the words of Alma. Yea, all were gathered together that believed on his word, to hear him. And he did ^ateach them, and did preach unto them repentance, and redemption, and faith on the Lord.

  26  And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the ^aliving God?

  2  My soul thirsteth for God, for the ^bliving God: when shall I come and appear before God?

  28  Be wise in the days of your probation; strip yourselves of all uncleanness; ask not, that ye may consume it on your lusts, but ask with a firmness unshaken, that ye will yield to no temptation, but that ye will serve the true and ^dliving God.

  19  And gave unto them commandments that they should love and serve him, the only ^cliving and true God, and that he should be the only being whom they should worship.

  15  And I heard a voice from the Father, saying: Yea, the words of my Beloved are true and faithful. He that endureth to the ^cend, the same shall be saved.
