28  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will ^apour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

  16  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet ^aJoel;

  6  I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the ^cGentiles;

  25  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

  84  Therefore, tarry ye, and labor diligently, that you may be perfected in your ministry to go forth among the ^aGentiles for the last time, as many as the mouth of the Lord shall name, to bind up the law and seal up the testimony, and to prepare the saints for the hour of judgment which is to come;

  4  How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

  10  And the time ^aspeedily cometh that great things are to be shown forth unto the children of men;

  35  And behold, this is not yet, but ^aby and by.

  1  Verily, thus saith the Lord concerning the wars that will ^bshortly come to pass, beginning at the rebellion of South Carolina, which will eventually terminate in the death and misery of many souls;

  37  Therefore, marvel not at these things, for ye are not yet pure; ye can not yet bear my glory; but ye shall behold it if ye are faithful in keeping all my words that I have given you, from the days of Adam to Abraham, from Abraham to Moses, from Moses to Jesus and his apostles, and from Jesus and his apostles to Joseph Smith, whom I did call upon by mine ^cangels, my ministering servants, and by mine own voice out of the heavens, to bring forth my work;
