1  My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the ^abitterness of my soul.

  15  What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the ^abitterness of my soul.

  2  In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be ^bcomforted.

  3  He began to repent of the evil which he had done; he began to remember the words which had been spoken by the mouth of all the prophets, and he saw them that they were fulfilled thus far, every whit; and his soul mourned and refused to be ^bcomforted.

  38  And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and ^awept.

  35  And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be ^bcomforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.

  5  And it came to pass that I was overcome because of my afflictions, for I considered that mine ^aafflictions were great above all, because of the destruction of my people, for I had beheld their fall.

  26  And he lifted up his voice to heaven, and ^acried, saying: O, how long, O Lord, wilt thou suffer that thy servants shall dwell here below in the flesh, to behold such gross wickedness among the children of men?
