Footnotes   ?

  10  And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to bZion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

  6  And that a aNew Jerusalem should be built up upon this land, unto the remnant of the seed of Joseph, for which things there has been a type.

  9  Until the time shall come when it shall be revealed unto you from on high, when the city of the bNew Jerusalem shall be prepared, that ye may be gathered in one, that ye may be my people and I will be your God.

  62  And righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth, to bear testimony of mine Only Begotten; his resurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.

  10  We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that cZion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

  8  Wherefore the decree hath gone forth from the Father that they shall be agathered in unto one place upon the face of this land, to prepare their hearts and be prepared in all things against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked.

  2  Saying: I, the Lord, will make known unto you what I will that ye shall do from this time until the next conference, which shall be held in Missouri, upon the aland which I will consecrate unto my people, which are a remnant of Jacob, and those who are heirs according to the covenant.

  1  Hearken, O ye elders of my church, saith the Lord your God, who have assembled yourselves together, according to my commandments, in this land, which is the land of Missouri, which is the bland which I have appointed and consecrated for the gathering of the saints.

  24  And inasmuch as mine enemies come against you to drive you from my goodly aland, which I have consecrated to be the land of Zion, even from your own lands after these testimonies, which ye have brought before me against them, ye shall curse them;

  7  In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of bpeace so long as the moon endureth.

  10  And again, be patient in tribulation until I come; and, behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, and they who have sought me early shall find erest to their souls. Even so. Amen.

  6  And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of arefuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

  32  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

  4  Verily this is the word of the Lord, that the city aNew Jerusalem shall be built by the gathering of the saints, beginning at this place, even the place of the temple, which temple shall be reared in this generation.
