19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their ^cdeeds were evil.

  4  For there are certain ^amen crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

  21  And their hearts are corrupt, and full of wickedness and abominations; and they love darkness rather than light, because their ^edeeds are evil; therefore they will not ask of me.

  46-48  And the Spirit giveth light to every man that cometh into the world; and the Spirit enlighteneth every man through the world, that hearkeneth to the voice of the Spirit.

  31-32  Behold, here is the agency of man, and here is the condemnation of man; because that which was from the beginning is plainly manifest unto them, and they receive not the light.

  32  But, O my people, beware lest there shall arise contentions among you, and ye ^blist to obey the evil spirit, which was spoken of by my father Mosiah.

  27  For every man receiveth wages of him whom he listeth to obey, and this according to the words of the spirit of prophecy; therefore let it be according to the truth. And thus endeth the fifth year of the reign of the judges.

  42  And whosoever doeth this must receive his ^awages of him; therefore, for his wages he receiveth death, as to things pertaining unto righteousness, being dead unto all good works.

  60  And thus we see the end of him who perverteth the ways of the Lord; and thus we see that the devil will not ^bsupport his children at the last day, but doth speedily drag them down to hell.

  33  Then they say in their hearts: This is not the work of the Lord, for his promises are not fulfilled. But wo unto such, for their reward lurketh ^cbeneath, and not from above.
