  13  For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I bmagnify mine office:

  19  And we did amagnify our office unto the Lord, taking upon us the responsibility, answering the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach them the word of God with all diligence; wherefore, by laboring with our might their blood might not come upon our garments; otherwise their blood would come upon our garments, and we would not be found spotless at the last day.

  2  Now, my beloved brethren, I, Jacob, according to the responsibility which I am under to God, to bmagnify mine office with soberness, and that I might rid my garments of your sins, I come up into the temple this day that I might declare unto you the word of God.

  1  Behold, I say unto you that you shall let your time be devoted to the studying of the scriptures, and to preaching, and to confirming the church at cColesville, and to performing your labors on the land, such as is required, until after you shall go to the west to hold the next conference; and then it shall be made known what you shall do.

  2  And again, I say unto you that ye shall not go until ye have preached my gospel in those parts, and have strengthened up the church whithersoever it is found, and more especially in bColesville; for, behold, they pray unto me in much faith.

  71  And the elders or high priests who are appointed to assist the bishop as counselors in all things, are to have their families supported out of the property which is consecrated to the bishop, for the good of the poor, and for other purposes, as before mentioned;

  12  He who is appointed to administer spiritual things, the same is worthy of his hire, even as those who are appointed to a stewardship to administer in temporal things;

  8  The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in ball that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

  31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and call these things shall be added unto you.
