Jeremiah 13:27  
 27 I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine aabominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made bclean? when shall it once be?

  13  And he read, saying: Wo, wo, unto Jerusalem, for I have seen thine aabominations! Yea, and many things did my father read concerning Jerusalem—that it should be destroyed, and the inhabitants thereof; many should perish by the sword, and many should be carried away captive into Babylon.

  13  In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be bpurged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
