4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man ^adeceive you.

  6  For it came to pass that they did ^adeceive many with their flattering words, who were in the church, and did cause them to commit many sins; therefore it became expedient that those who committed sin, that were in the church, should be admonished by the church.

  12  For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to ^cdeceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it—
