18  And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

  8  Wherefore the decree hath gone forth from the Father that they shall be gathered in unto one place upon the face of this land, to prepare their hearts and be prepared in all things against the day when ^ctribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked.

  11  But without faith shall not anything be shown forth except ^bdesolations upon Babylon, the same which has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

  17  Hearken ye, for, behold, the great ^bday of the Lord is nigh at hand.

  1  Behold, the Lord maketh the earth ^bempty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

  6  For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not ^cconsumed.

  15  For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

  41  And it shall be answered upon their heads; for the presence of the Lord shall be as the melting fire that burneth, and as the fire which causeth the waters to boil.

  64  And also that which was written by the prophet Malachi: For, behold, the ^bday cometh that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
