12  For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the ^bGentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

  12  The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a ^bfool will swallow up himself.

  9  But they shall proceed no further: for their ^afolly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

  28  O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the ^cfoolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish.

  17  Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows; for every one of them is a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh ^efolly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
