38  And he that taketh not his ^across, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

  30  For it is better that ye should deny yourselves of these things, wherein ye will take up your ^across, than that ye should be cast into hell.

  8  I will therefore that men ^bpray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

  28  And again, I command thee that thou shalt pray ^bvocally as well as in thy heart; yea, before the world as well as in secret, in public as well as in private.

  47  And visit the house of each member, and exhort them to pray ^bvocally and in secret and attend to all family duties.
