D&C 1:33  
 33 And he that arepents not, from him shall be btaken even the light which he has received; for my cSpirit shall not always dstrive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts.

And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is adeparted from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

  16  For I will not acontend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

  4  Behold, I am laboring with them continually; and when I speak the word of God with sharpness they tremble and anger against me; and when I use no sharpness they harden their hearts against it; wherefore, I fear lest the Spirit of the Lord hath ceased cstriving with them.
